A cleaning includes scaling and removing plaque and tarter (known as calculus), as well as surface staining. I polish your teeth at the end of each cleaning to leave you with a smooth, fresh smile that sparkles!

An ultrasonic water scaler, if needed, is typically used first as a debridement tool for stain, plaque and tarter.

I follow up with a detective instrument to explore for any deposits remaining above or below the gumline, and hand scale as necessary.

Once scaling is completed, I follow up with a polish in a flavour of your choice to leave you with a smooth and tasty new smile.
